Every American should read this ACLU lawsuit about what is happening in Los Angeles and California. It is the stuff of dystopian nightmares. This is not immigration enforcement. It is positively stuffed with videos and articles documenting racial profiling on a scale unseen since Jim Crow.

If you about that John Brown life? You ain’t waiting for a Fb invite. Those folks trained to intervene. They trained and committed. If you think you get to jump up and do that without training or commitment because you are angry TODAY, you really need to interrogate your…investment in self.
am i crazy or is what’s happening in LA not really protests per se? like they’re physically blocking ICE from carrying through deportations, that’s something different from a protest. it’s intervention to stop harm. i can’t help but think these commentators elide direct action & protest on purpose.
