What’s also true is that documentaries don’t make a lot of money, and by that standard, $7 million is a good number. But two things: Most docs cost their studios much, much less than what Amazon paid, and two, as Melania herself has said, this really isn’t a doc. It’s a MAGA puff piece on film.

So far, the Sundance docs I’ve watched have included clips from The Oprah Winfrey Show, Donahue, Morton Downey Jr., Jerry Springer, Regis and Kathie Lee, and The Jon Stewart Show.

The end of Sundance in Park City is really hitting me hard considering I’ve never been there or have any career milestones associated with that festival.
