And then

a) the coping skills that had worked for a chunk of their life just suddenly aren't enough as stress / obligations compound

b) they have a kid who gets dx and they wind up learning about it and have a lightbulb moment

and/or

c) symptoms go haywire during perimenopause &/or menopause
This is because ADHD was not diagnosed in women. I have several friends who definitely have ADHD and some neighbors growing up who definitely had it too. But because women present their symptoms differently, it was written off.
Adult ADHD prescriptions still on the rise, especially among older women
The new analysis by researchers at the National Institute on Drug Abuse also looked into how the medications are being misused.

Repeat after us: "Executive orders are not the law. Executive orders do not override Congress."

Screw Trump and screw his made-up EOs. We don't have to keep pretending he gets to make up the law.
Stand up and ignore the bad-law EOs.

Can someone please spread this word to every NIH leader?
Trump shuts down the Department of Education.

Why is Linda McMahon taking tax payer dollars as Secretary of Education?

Also, Chuck Schumer, how do you feel about helping the GOP pass their bill? Did it stop them? RESIGN.

We’ll say it again: Criminalizing masks does not make New Yorkers safer.

In reality, it puts our health at risk, opens the floodgates for racist enforcement, threatens to exile some people with disabilities from society, and undermines protections for protestors.
NEW: New York Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul is reviving her push to ban masks and is urging New York State lawmakers to include a mask ban in the upcoming state budget.

This move endangers public health and threatens civil liberties.

Chief Justice John Roberts has issued a remarkable statement in response to Trump’s call for impeachment of the judge who ruled against him in Alien Enemy Act case. This is about law, not politics.

There are actually NOT questions about whether a verbal order carries the same weight. Unless you're an idiot. Then yeah, maybe you have questions about that.

They claim they can snatch people up, put them on planes, and deport them to a country run by an authoritarian, where those people will be forced to work slave labor at an inhumane prison. All without due process, and in defiance of federal courts.

The hypotheticals are over. This is the nightmare.
