It was obvious to anyone not captured by phony tribal allegiances and wish-casting analysis that Trump’s second term would bear no resemblance to his first, when he was constrained by the serious people around him. It was clear it would be Laura Loomer all the way down.

If a hostile foreign government wanted to sow chaos and create the conditions for easily avoidable harm to befall large numbers of Americans, they probably couldn't do it any more effectively than the Trump administration has over the past eight days.
