ICYMI: Buildings with rent stabilized units will soon have signage alerting tenants to the building's status! This is just a small, simple awareness tool to empower tenants.

Thanks #BrooklynPaper for covering the bill.

The drone attack on the Freedom Flotilla, delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza, is a blatant and transparent violation of international law and human decency. Targeting those bringing relief to civilians is indefensible. Solidarity with everyone at the @freedomflotilla.bsky.social

Eric Adams is despicable, never wanted to #CloseRikers and now that he is a total lame duck he floats this. @sandynurse.bsky.social says it best “ Any attempt to reverse the law that requires the city to close Rikers is a useless unproductive waste of f-king time” @nycprogressives.bsky.social

I wrote for @hammerandhope.bsky.social about why Black Leftists must take power in the streets and in elected office.

In this era, protest isn’t enough. We need Black Leftists in City Halls across America.

Stop ceding ground.
Take power at all levels.

Our campaign is endorsed by workers who build, run and care for this city. Our team fights everyday for a city where every worker, every family, and every neighborhood thrives. I’m proud to be a candidate backed by labor! 💪🏽

Kinda insane and shows how afraid the networks are of upsetting this administration that a guy who killed 7 people and wounded 48 with “47” literally tattooed on his face has all but been forgotten like there’s still not a very serious threat emanating from every pore of this pathetic cult

My universal child care plan isn't built on feel-good rhetoric or empty promises. It's a real, actionable plan that leverages the full power of the comptroller’s office to address our city's child care crisis with strategic audits, smart investments & a commitment to families.

VICTORY!

The New York City Council, thanks to @cmsandynurse.bsky.social, just passed #FreeToPee legislation that would create, maintain, & report on 2,000+ public restrooms by 2035. When ya gotta go, ya gotta go — and now people in NYC won't have to purchase anything to meet their basic needs!

I'm not going to stop saying this. We need to stop calling it "deporting." It may not always be fair or humane, but deportation has a process. And it means you're sent back to where you came from. These people are being trafficked and sold to slave prisons. Not deported.
