You all need to learn the difference between machine learning, algorithms, and GenAI because making you think they're all the same thing is part of the LLM-chatbot-as-friend-and-propagandist plot. Once you know the difference you know why they keep talking about use cases like finding cancer.

I honestly don’t know how we ever recover from this loss of institutional knowledge. There’s no reason to do this…we learn nothing from history.
