My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

quick quiz, who said it musk or hilter?

1. “Whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you. You either fight back or you die. That’s the truth, I think.”

KEEP SHARING YOUR STORIES about increased ACA premiums due to the disappearance of subsidies. The stories clearly are having an impact, they help people feel less helpless, and they create solidarity that leads to action.

Mine went from $395→ $821. What happened for you?

The cost of Trump's immigration surge: Stalled investigations into child sexual abuse, Iranian oil smuggling and human trafficking, among others. My latest piece is a big team effort on how DHS has been transformed into the Department of Deportation.

The government does not track how often immigration agents grab citizens. So ProPublica did. Our tally — almost certainly incomplete — includes people who were held for days without a lawyer. And nearly 20 children, two of whom have cancer. @nicolefoy.bsky.social

“Historically, when left to their own devices, states don’t necessarily do the right thing for kids with disabilities and their families,” a former director at the federal Office of Special Education Programs said.

The Department of Education Forced Idaho to Stop Denying Disabled Students an Education. Then Trump Gutted Its Staff.
For years, the Education Department was the only agency that could ensure states would improve conditions for disabled children. Now, Trump’s cuts threaten to hamper its oversight.

It's an open secret that US garment factories are staffed with undocumented workers. After decades of toiling for low pay, I've yet to see a single fashion brand speak up on about the raids on LA's garment district. In 2016, Robert Geller at least made an "Immigrant" t-shirt to raise funds.

I heard it directly from healthcare leaders in my district: Republicans’ brutal budget bill will lead to closures of hospitals and less access to life-saving care. More Oregonians will die preventable deaths if this bill passes, and I will fight like hell to keep that from happening.

After ruling the NIH grant terminations illegal, Judge Young ended the hearing with an eye-opening speech.

“This represents racial discrimination, and discrimination against America’s LGBTQ community. That's what this is. I would be blind not to call it out. My duty is to call it out. And I do so.”
THIS IS IT! THIS IS HUGE!!

PLAINTIFF'S WIN!!

Judge Young rules that the NIH grant terminations at issue in these cases are illegal and therefore vacated. BOOM!
"This Court rules that the challenged directives . . . are arbitrary and capricious."

"They are of no force and effect."

"They are illegal and so are each of the terminations before this Court"
