Overall Greens vote pretty much steady, and way up over 2013-2019. The Greens are in a tough spot, on a knife edge, where small swings for or against them make or break whether they win some seats. #auspol

Australian voters live in stark reality: struggling to put food on the table as so-called ‘business leaders’ pay up to $110,000 for access to senior politicians in the major parties.

People in Queensland are skipping seeing the GP due to soaring costs.

Only 13.9% of Queensland doctors bulk bill, down from 17.9% the year before.

Peter Dutton was crowned our worst health minister in 35 years and GP’s have gotten more expensive under Labor.

Healthcare is not a luxury.

This move undermines democracy in Australia. The Greens support the bills transparency measures but want to ensure funding reforms don’t entrench the two-party system. We need real electoral reform, not a stitch-up.

It looks like the major parties may just stitch us up and strike a deal on electoral reform. Today, Labor and the LNP buddied up again to vote against the Greens and the crossbench to block an inquiry on the most consequential changes to our democracy in decades.

Diversity is a fact: All kinds of people exist.

Equity is a goal: All kinds of people deserve a chance at success.

Inclusion is how we get to equity. By including them, they can achieve success.

It's that simple.

Oh my days, this is lovely! What would your birthday song be? I'm going to have to think 🎶🎵🎂
In my family, we choose our own birthday song, usually a song from your birth year. We all sing their birthday song to them at their birthday party. We started this tradition in response to the awfulness of the Happy Birthday song. My birthday song is Sitting on the Dock of the Bay.

Before you judge a disabled person for the way they’re coping with the messiness of life …consider the sickest you ever were. Maybe it was a flu or an infection thst required surgery

Try and remember the pain, fatigue & crushing monotony of it

Now imagine knowing it would never end. Then be kinder

I love that feeling of getting something out of the dishwasher, and it’s done a really good job so the glass is super-clean. So satisfying.

Hi Bluesky! 👋
I’m Lynn (CursingWhileCrafting). I’m a disabled artist, spending most of my time sewing. I enjoy the hand quilting method English Paper Piecing most of all! I’d love to get to know more disabled and/or crafty folks.
Here I am with my new kitten, and a quilt I made last year.
