As many have pointed out, Mamdani didn't stand apart from our trans brothers and sisters. He didn't play the "Gee, gosh, it sure is complicated," milquetoast moderate card. And he crushed.

I've been using a cane the past few weeks to help with my arthritis issues and finally stopped with the fucking internalized shame I had about it. Plus, if someone does decide to be a dick to me, I now have built-in weaponry.
