NYC--finally! It's great living in a neighborhood with fit people who can read & aren't racist.

Writer. (Working in finance as a day job for some reason.) (Also in grad school now, thrown to wolves. Forced to teach freshman comp. World is a vampire.)

If you see anyone wringing their hands over "electability" regarding a hypothetical AOC '28 presidential campaign, know that they are a Republican or a useful idiot and should be treated as such. They got us to this point. Reject this Loser Mindset. It's okay to be a fanatic partisan for Our Girl.

We are entering a phase when it will be very important to not hand it to Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: "I never thought that fighting to release the Epstein files, defending women who were victims of rape, and fighting to expose the web of rich powerful elites would have caused this, but here we are."

Just got back from the federal building in downtown San Diego where our local bishop and other church leaders were leading a vigil for the immigrants unjustly incarcerated there. The leadership the church has shown on this issue is inspiring.

You just know that “Did Women Ruin the Workplace?” bit would have done NUMBERS in this little clique
Something absolutely perfect about Larry Summers riffing about the scourge of woke cancel culture being unfair to predatory men in a friendly email to his pal JEFFREY EPSTEIN.

We need AOC in the White House. She would be so wasted on a Senate run for Schumer's seat. Brad Lander could take him. The sun is absolutely setting on Chuck. And if she loses in '28, Gillibrand and the governorship are options in '30.

Moderate CIA Agent Abigail Spanberger and democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani have cruised to victory tonight. The Democratic Party's path back to power could not be clearer!

Not trying to be antagonistic but why is it that the only politicians whom "Pro-Palestine" activists protest are Democrats who are people of color??

The data so far is good news for independent candidate Andrew Cuomo, a political scientist said.

Finishing the interview, Jean-Pierre handles herself quite poorly but Chotnier is being very tactless and obtuse as well, in a way that I suspect KJP is familiar with as a black woman in politics

AOC appears to be running. Very exciting.
@aoc at the rally for Mamdani Sunday in NYC.

“This city was built by the Irish escaping famine, Italians fleeing fascism, Black Americans fleeing slavery and Jim Crow, Latinos seeking a better life, Native people standing for themselves, Asian Americans coming together…”

So good!! 🔥

A trailblazing, polarizing, iconoclastic leader born on October 13 who came from very humble beginnings and entered elected office as a young woman in a surprising nomination win that shocked elite circles, and went on to help lead her party out of the center while infuriating its aging leadership.

Happy 36th birthday to the kind, beautiful, smart, and deeply courageous AOC. Her moral clarity has been a bright light in the darkness since her unprecedented primary victory in 2018, and will soon shine from the White House. The American people are lucky to have her fighting for us.
