It's bad - really bad: "At the end of 2024, 4.5m children – 31% of all UK children – were in relative poverty, living in households earning less than 60% of the UK’s median income. And 18% of all children were growing up in food-insecure households, without consistent access to nutritious food."
Child poverty: how bad is it in the UK?
Four and a half million children are growing up without basic necessities in the UK.

Good ventilation and air filtration are critical tools in preventing respiratory infections.

The Government must assess current standards in hospitals and schools — and act where they fall short.

We live in an unequal world. And it’s getting worse. 1 in 1,000 people own three times more than 500 of those 1,000 people. It’s not a matter of being unfair - it’s an economic system unfit for the world.

The ECHR was set up after WWII to ensure that fascism never again arose in Europe. Why do the right want to curb/limit/leave/abolish the ECHR? Because it does what it was intended to do, that's why...
How many times do we need to point this out?
By appeasing the far right, you do not weaken it. You strengthen it.
While weakening your own position.
There's a vast amount of academic research showing this.
But Labour will not listen.

Land-based salmon farming is an environmental and ethical disaster:
⚠️ Drains the ocean of wild fish, stolen from coastal communities for salmon feed
⚠️ Devours water and energy
⚠️ Risky tech with frequent failures, pollution, mass die-offs
⚠️ Causes suffering on an industrial scale

What is land-based salmon? It’s industrial fish farming in tanks.

Salmon – born to swim through rivers and seas – are now crammed into sterile tanks under artificial lights inside factories.

From wild rivers to prison tanks. It’s absurd and cruel. (2/5)
