Thank you to everyone who came to the Shared Health annual conference last week.

We saw GPs, researchers, artists, politicians, journalists, and lived experience, all daring to hope to improve outcomes for those impacted by health inequalities.

Great campaign session this morning around Thingwall Road & Fieldway.

Lots of good discussions & casework regarding parking, traffic & highways which I will report to the council.

I know Councillor Julie Fadden is working hard to address these concerns.

We are in the midst of a homelessness emergency, the cross departmental strategy for ending homelessness cannot be delayed any longer. The human cost is far too high.

I am proud we have delivered on our promise to lay The Hillsborough Law.

I want to pay tribute to the strength, dignity and resilience of the families who have fought tirelessly for truth and justice.

Justice for the 97.

Today I was privileged to speak in The Hillsborough Law debate.

My constituent & friend Mark Corrigan was in attendance today to see the Bill laid. His brother Keith McGrath was unlawfully killed at Hillsborough. His parents Mary & Joe fought for truth, justice & accountability.

As fireworks season gets underway this week, Pets at Home are sharing important welfare advice.

If you follow these five steps, you can make sure your furry friends keep calm and as stress-free as possible this week.

My thoughts & prayers are with the victims of the awful attack in Huntingdon last night.

Thanks to our emergency services who acted swiftly under very difficult circumstances.

The train driver should also be commended for his actions which enabled our emergency services to access the train quickly
Nothing to suggest train stabbing attack is terror-related, police say - latest
Two people remain in a life-threatening condition and two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

🌹Mainstream's Interim Council sends its congratulations to
@lucympowell.bsky.social, whom we endorsed after a ballot of our members.

This result must mark a shift toward a broader, bolder politics within Labour - so that we can build a democratic socialist programme to inspire the country.

I was pleased to reaffirm my support for WASPI Campaign women in Parliament this week. 1950s-born women have waited long enough for justice.

Ahead of December’s High Court hearing, I urge Ministers to deliver fair compensation to all those affected.
