Hasn’t he had two “annual physicals” this year? Did he have to pay entirely out of pocket for the second, as no insurance would cover duplicate exams + tests?
Of course not because he has no idea how anything works. “Deal with insurance yourself!” is the con of conservative “healthcare” offerings

Trump: I want the money to go into an account for people where the people buy their own insurance. They will feel like entrepreneurs. Call it Trumpcare… anything but Obamacare. Obamacare is a disaster just like he was.

I am SO SICK of Trump and his MAGA losers vilifying SNAP recipients
The people that get SNAP are generally hardworking Americans that aren’t paid nearly enough by companies like Amazon and Walmart
And THESE are the people whose benefits they eliminate
While giving billionaires more tax breaks

Hey @schumer.senate.gov, a 'promise' from Republicans? WTAF? Are you a child? Even you can't be that naïve. Don't you dare do your kabuki theater with hundreds of millions of lives hanging in the balance.
If you can't play hardball, resign. Immediately.

There's one example of a successful hostile takeover of a major party - Donald Trump - and it didn't happen by playing nice with the party bigwigs. Trump went to war with them, humiliated them. And now "Little Marco" works for him.

In response to this claim that the "strategy didn't work."
The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.
And giving in now will embolden him. Things will likely get worse.

yam tits always knows just what to say…
The President wouldn't last five minutes as an air traffic controller, and after everything they've been through - and the way this administration has treated them from Day One - he has no business shitting on them now.

After you get done paying an extra $5,000 in tariffs on everything you buy in a year's time, Donny Two Dolls is gonna give you $2,000 back, & he'll use the rest to pay the interest on the $ he borrowed to buy big honkin' tax breaks for the oligarchs. You can't buy shrewd business advice like that! 🙄

‘they’ being the voting public WERE training their fire on the people responsible by overwhelmingly voting for the democratic ticket just 5 days ago!!
Shaheen: "All those people who oppose this agreement -- staying in a shutdown mode was not getting us anywhere. They need to train their fire on the people who are responsible. That's Trump, Johnson, & the Republicans who have blocked every attempt to get healthcare. We need to be working together."

This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.
Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.
This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

Dear Senator Kaine,
@kaine.senate.gov
I would have written earlier, but I truly believed that I did not need to worry about ‘my’ Senators. Just last year, I voted with the majority in our state to return you to the Senate. I now regret that vote due to your support for the CR passed on Sunday. 🧵1/4

Bullies gain power when their misconduct succeeds in causing righteous people to yield in the face of wrongdoing. That’s why voting for Trump's continuing resolution - without any protection against his health care cuts or his growing illegality - is a mistake.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.
The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.
People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.
And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️
