Imagine you could ask some dude to hop in his big, gas-guzzling car, drive over to your house any time, and do your work for you.

But what if I told you that when the dude left your house, he was going down the block to visit a troubled teenager in order to help them commit suicide? (Gift link)
Perry: How can AI be used ethically when it’s been linked to suicide?
"It’s not on us, on you and me, to use AI ethically or responsibly. It’s on the companies to build safe, reliable, ethical products," David M. Perry writes.

Minnesota State Sen. Alice Mann (DFL-Edina) calls out the slashing of MinnesotaCare in the state budget:

"There is no fiscal responsibility when you do this. When we take away people's health care, they end up in the emergency department. It costs more money for everyone in the community."

I can’t stop thinking about this framing when it comes to climate. And I don’t mean “doom” as in “I feel badly about this situation,” but as in “it’s too late.” Someone responded to my post about the impact of climate activism yesterday calling it hopium. Two people who follow me liked it.
Doomerism is libs' and lefties' way of obeying in advance.

You Can’t Post Your Way Out of Fascism

It has been 60 years since Minnesota experienced as little crime as it did in 2024. For the vast majority of people alive in Minnesota last year was the safest of their lives.

Keep this in mind when politicians in upcoming elections attempt to use fear to get you to vote for them!

Kamala Harris treated climate change as an issue to be avoided. But climate is one of Dems' best opportunities to tell stories that, like Trump's, have clear villains and center the way elites (like Big Oil CEOs) are hurting working class people.

That's why it's time for climate populism.
The Answer to Democrats’ Class Problem Is Staring Them in the Face
The climate crisis offers one of the strongest fields imaginable for proving fealty to the working class against rapacious elites.
