JustGiving makes 54% profit by automatically adding a ‘tip’ to every gift bit.ly/4jy7V59 as I have often reported here. You can set the ‘tip’ to zero but it’s a bit fiddly. It also keeps some of the gift aid and charges a fee to the charity. Best to give direct to charity

The arguments are complex , but seems the government is showing little goodwill and taking a dangerous and obstructive approach to sorting out the resident drs’ dissatisfaction.
Wes Streeting has proposed repurposing 1000 locally employed doctor (LED) posts into training numbers for resident doctors.

Converting these roles would almost certainly involve terminating existing LED contracts, writes @parthaskar.bsky.social
