I keep coming back to this photo I took yesterday of the Stonewall Inn, and the vow written in neon in the window, which I think we would all do well to live by right now:

“In the name of those who came before me, I pledge to be brave, to be true to myself, and to fight like hell for equality.”

No one elected Elon Musk.

As Donald Trump allows Musk to access people’s personal information and shut down government funding, Republicans in Washington will also own the consequences.

We must do everything in our power to push back and protect people from harm.

People on TikTok are reporting ICE raids happening in small cities in various states.

To get past algorithmic censorship, they’re writing down the information on paper and holding up and shuffling through the handwritten signs as they talk about pretend subjects like shopping, food, and animals.

Long 🧵.

I suspect many people have parents, uncles, cousins, and friends in their lives who have recently acquired strong opinions about workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs at large corporations without any actual experience of large corporations much less of corporate DEI.
