Part 1 of 2 of new ink I’m getting before moving. Needed something on my skin to remember my friends by until I see them again. This tattoo is from the show Magicians, I got it matching with my friend who showed it to me. She, and the show, did a lot for my mental health when I was at my lowest.

So today I went to an appointment for birth control and was told that I couldn’t get the nexplanon implant here- because they have no nexplanon implants. Due to federal funding being cut by president Trump, they’re unable to spend their grant money to buy more birth control- including nexplanon.

Visit and buy from your hyper local art markets, farmers markets and ethnic grocery stores and restaurants. Take classes at your local art center, music studio, urban farm or anything that's part of your local community. Just show up if nothing else.
Been thinking about this a lot (not tagging the sender, for their privacy). Most of us won't have the chance for for grand, capital-R Resistance heroics. But every one of us will have a thousand small choices to make about how to live our lives and where to draw lines. Use them well.

Trump’s efforts to gut the federal workforce should be understood as part of the broader Republican project to make public services shitty so people will hate and resent the government. For other examples, see most red states. Republicans do not want a government that actually works for people.
