Kyiv is under missile attack.
It’s very loud.
Nothing new, really.
Just thought the world should know.

Um, ICE just coldly shot an unarmed PRIEST in the head w a pepper ball when he (and everyone around him) clearly posed no threat.

For the crime of … complaining about government policy.

Core 1A speech.

With cameras rolling, they’re sniping priests for sport.
Here’s video of the incident

Greetings from Kyiv,
where the air raid alert has been ongoing for three hours.
Drones.

I’m furious that children have to spend their second day of school in shelters.

The other day, I visited an exhibition that left me speechless.
It shows women who lost their sons and husbands in the war.

I’m sharing part of it with a poem that played during the video.
I added English subtitles. For you.

Please watch. And share. So others can see too.

They signed it on the 4th, how poetic. A bill that guts veterans’ care, slashes food aid, and health care to 11.8 million Americans to give tax breaks to the rich. They call it “freedom,” but it’s a betrayal. A shameful day for a country that once knew better.

This last minute freeze of funds will cripple summer classes and camps scheduled to begin soon, leaving poor working parents without options. Shameful. Illegal. Wrong.

I saw them in the mall today.

They were singing about the
Warriors of Light,
Warriors of Good.
About themselves, actually.

I came home and opened the news.

russia launched a missile attack on the city of Dnipro and the surrounding region, striking civilian infrastructure and a passenger train.

At least eleven people were killed, and more than 100 were wounded.

I want the world to know.

They’re planning on building a detention center for migrants in the middle of the fetid swamps of Florida.

If you think this is something new, the first internment camp they sent me and my family to in 1942 was a barbed wire prison called Rohwer. It was located in the swamps of Arkansas.

Unpunished evil walks freely.

‘I can’t get through to my mum and dad,’ Kyrylo messaged the head of the class parents’ committee. She had asked if everyone was okay after the attack.

His parents were killed.
Kyrylo had been staying at his grandmother’s during the attack on Kyiv.

I translated it for you.
The post of a Ukrainian woman during the night attack on Kyiv.

‘Today, for the first time, my children were so afraid of the drones that they started praying (although this is not practised in our family) and crying. War and children are something unrealistically painful 😭’

Sorry but I just don't feel comfortable sharing public toilets with transphobes. At any moment they could just demand to have a look at my gennies. The law should protect women's spaces from these creeps.

Evening in Kyiv.
Mild and calm.
However, it is very cold and grey.
So, when I notice some other colors,
they make me stop and watch.

The moments we cherish.
The moments of our life.
