so the entire pc building market is about to start building to a bad crash that's worse than the crypto bubble but at least the gettin's good rn

callisto protocol starts really really strong but i think the fact that i've already seen the same enemy finisher animation ten times in an hour and a half doesn't bode well for the game eight and a half hours from now

the real hot take is that all art should be free to access but we're not ready for that, so let's go with the more reasonable one of "hey why don't we just make cheaper games?"
AAA video games should cost $100 on launch. this would still be extremely cheap for the amount of time and enjoyment you get out of them! But an audience of whiny babies has kept them literally at the same price for *two decades* despite both general inflation *and* sector-specific costs rising
