Relitigate deez nuts.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT I AM SAYING YOU CAN BLOCK ME.

I'M GOING TO KEEP SAYING IT.
There really isn't anything to be gained by relitigating the 2024 election. It doesn't help us with any of the projects that urgently need our work.

@aoc.bsky.social trying to call my senators to ask why they are voting to approve his cabinet picks and the switch board was not allowing me to leave a message anymore. Any idea how to get ahold of Congress?

Lessons to be learned:

1. Centrists align with far-right to look tough on immigration
2. Centrists gain nothing
3. Far-right wins more power

Remember: The GOP uses dangerous smears against trans people, immigrants, and people of color to deflect attention from the near record share of the nation’s income and wealth now going to the richest Americans.

Don't let them get away with it.

I want to be clear about where we stand with the EO:

The battlefield is now revealed. We know the pieces on it and their plans. It doesn't mean its lost or immediate.

But Trump has fired his first shot.

Implementation will take time and challenges are sure to come. Stay strong, its a marathon.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said: “I know, somehow, that only when it is dark enough can you see the stars.”

Today and always, let us follow his moral compass, keep working to build an equal and just society for all, and even in the hardest of times, continue finding those stars.

This is exactly what progressives said would happen and yet Biden/the Democrats chose to champion this ban and make themselves the face of it bc they care more about passing authoritarian policies like a TikTok ban than listening to their own constituents (none of whom wanted this ban)
Cool. Pro-Trump propaganda. This is such an unforced error on Democrats part. Banning this app was such an asinine move.

Regardless, TT is cooked. Trump was able to pull TT leadership into the fold. While I don't want to help cultivate echo chambers how are we supposed to use an app with so much propaganda? The message refers to him as the president- he's not until tomorrow.

We have stolen the best ideas from the other platforms and called them our own.
Come on back!

Ever heard of the “door kicking challenge” where teens kick on people’s doors for “social media clout”? No?

That’s because it doesn’t exist. It is yet another fake TikTok challenge entirely invented by local news media outlets and police departments across the country to scare parents.

Nothing is more indicative of how authoritarian the political culture of the GOP has become than the fact that over the past few months its elected leaders have basically turned it over to an unelected rich guy who has threatened to primary them if they disobey orders. And no one has complained.
