Worth watching 'Good Night, and Good Luck,' in any of its versions, as a reminder of what CBS has been.

Or 'The Insider,' about 60 Minutes in particular.

This is really, really bad.

Share and tell CBS to air this! Sharyn Alfonsi, the veteran “60 Minutes” correspondent who reported a segment about migrants sent to the El Salvadoran torture prison CECOT, just sent a blistering letter to colleagues, sounding the alarm that Bari Weiss spiked the story for political reasons.

now would be a good time to raise holy hell about the massive risks that AI poses to national security and economic stability in a blackout
…*before* the broligarchs succeed in forcing AI into everything
So we found out today in San Francisco that autonomous cars don't work in a blackout (Waymos shut down, wherever they were, all over city)

Participating in live experiments is fun! I still wish I'd been asked beforehand. But it is pretty wild and kind of cool to see them discover their edge cases.

For what it's worth, the Nobel Peace Prize was decided weeks ago. Trump and his team know that. They know he's not going to get it. But announcing this deal right before the new laureate will be revealed allows him to play a victim and pretend it's rigged.

Since this whole thing started, I often think of how perhaps the most powerful person in America if not on a greater scale is JD Vance. He’s not stupid but has to stay stupid things to retain his position. If he displeases his master, he will be summarily exchanged. 1/2

Ridiculous. He tried to steal his election to remain in power just like Trump, so of course Lil Marco stands up for the coup leader. But the fact that this is the official position of the United States is disgusting.

@demgovs.org Could we NOT treat Mr. Kirk as some sort of fallen hero? He was a hate-monger who grew rich off attacking liberals, women, and minorities and shilling for Trump.
