immigrants score the lowest on tests, but they also take all our jobs, while at the same time taking all the welfare and buying all the homes
Stephen Miller: "If you subtract immigration out of test scores, all of the sudden our test scores skyrocket"

In a genuine WOW moment, this administration publicly acknowledges (perhaps for the first time) that an ICE officer violated procedure and will be taken off duty and subject to an investigation. This is a step in the right direction — I just wish it wasn't only because of such an awful viral video.

This Tuckahoe home won a $1.26 billion contract for an ICE detention center. The owner isn't talking.
The company’s website is dated and largely accessible only via login.

Our newest Justice has realized the body she operates in is as politicized as any in the US, all the while denying it to our faces. Glad we finally have a Justice who's willing to speak the truth! Even if only in doomed dissents.
The Supreme Court's bias toward corporate interests is persistent, pervasive, and exhaustively documented.

But it is still extraordinary to hear a sitting justice bluntly call it out and castigate her colleagues for consistently twisting the rules in favor of big business. slate.com/news-and-pol...
In a Stunning Critique, Ketanji Brown Jackson Nails One of This Court’s Worst Traits
The court is contorting the law to favor big business while locking out the most vulnerable, the newest justice wrote.

Very courageous. Bill Cassidy betrayed his oath as a physician and put the health of the nation in jeopardy because he was afraid of a primary. That will be his legacy.

“Democrats are seen as weak, whereas Republicans are seen as strong.”

Because that’s the dynamic we’ve seen in American politics for decades. Democrats can’t even uniformly oppose Trump’s nominees when the admin is doing after congressional Dems!

The president has to follow American law. The lawmaking process (in which Congress and the president play a role) is binding. The entire U.S. legal code is not merely a suggestion to the president. He is required by the Constitution to "take care that the laws be faithfully executed."
Leavitt: The courts should have no role here. There is a troubling & dangerous trend of unelected judges inserting themselves into the presidential decision making process. America cannot function if President Trump has his sensitive diplomatic or trade negotiations railroaded by activist judges.

LEAVITT: Yes. I understand there were some formatting issues but it does not negate the substance

Q: Did they use AI?

L: I can't speak to that

When will I get a long investigative piece from the Times or the Atlantic on why this man with his pudding brain has become obsessed with the word ‘groceries’. Obsessed.
Trump to UAE president: "We have a term 'groceries.' It's an old term but it means basically what you're buying, food, it's a pretty accurate term but it's an old fashioned sound but groceries are down."

Recently some MOC have said their Republican colleagues privately acknowledge Trump is not acting in the best interest of the US. Why aren’t they naming & shaming those colleagues? Crimes are being committed & protecting people who are protecting someone who is doing illegal things is also illegal.

This woman is an officer of the court and the Attorney General of the United States.

She knows that she wields immense power and responsibility.

Yet here she is on national TV, making baseless claims about a guy her boss wrongly sent to a gulag in El Salvador.

Katy Perry and Lauren Sánchez framed their brief space tourism flight on a centibillionaire's rocket as path-paving feminism. (It wasn't.)

Neither woman mentioned the ongoing attacks on — and literal erasure of — women and minorities across the American space sciences.
