Fleeing Facebook’s been liberating for mood management. Where it sucks is keeping in touch w/family I’ve setup photo albums elsewhere, I text & call more often, but always much more Friction just to accomplish anything than over in Zuck’s cozy quicksand. It’s worth the extra effort to steer clear.

New — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) was told this week by DOJ that they'd lose their funding if the org didn't remove any mentions of LGBTQIA+ issues from their public materials, I've learned. Staff were told they need to deadname trans kids in their reports to comply.
