Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.
We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

Our neighbor has an aerator running in our lake to help avoid fish kills which can happen if the lake becomes oxygen depleted. This common goldeneye showed up last week, the earliest we’ve had waterfowl. Before this guy the earliest was end of February (normally wouldn’t see them til mid-March) 🪶

Elegant Trogon, Chiricahua Mountans, AZ, April 2023. We were camped at Sunny Flat campground and this bird was right behind our site along Cave Creek. One of my best birding experiences as at one point the bird was directly overhead. This is a SE AZ specialty and worth the trip! 🪶

Corporations that engaged in price gouging infuriated voters which helped drive them to Trump. Now those corporations stand to make even more profits under Trump thru tax cuts & deregulation. Pump up the pain for even more gain. It’s an unvirtuous cycle, but it was a win-win for profiteers.♻️
