The debt, deportation, and death bill has passed. Congress further decimates care work to fund violence work.

Vital services eviscerated and ICE becomes the highest-funded federal law enforcement agency ever known. It hasn’t been sold this way, but it’s a massive public jobs program for fascists.

The IRS unit that audits billionaires lost 38 percent of its employees in DOGE cuts — a far higher loss rate than the IRS as a whole: icij.org/news/2025/03...

The IRS unit that audits billionaires has lost 38% of its employees since January, new data shows - ICIJ
As Donald Trump and Elon Musk take a chainsaw to the federal bureaucracy, the cuts at the IRS may be especially good news for America’s wealthiest taxpayers.

Rahm Emanuel covered up the murder of a Black teen, and shuttered public clinics and schools. Cuomo covered up COVID nursing home deaths and harassed women. These men heard "now is the time of monsters" and decided to attempt a comeback. They both belong in hell.

To be clear, these are not savings. I would save a lot of money if I didn’t pay my rent and buy food, but that really isn’t a good thing in the long run.

We are losing services and supports when doge indiscriminately cuts.
DOGE’s accounting of its “savings” is riddled with sloppy mistakes. The five largest cuts that it listed on its website earlier this week were all incorrect — making the savings look far larger than they were in reality.
The DOGE numbers don't add up.

we should publish a 925 page rebuttal to project 2025 that includes policies like legalizing molly, mandating eating ass, and a three day work week. we’ll put 100 justices on the supreme court and liquidate private equity firms. really hit the gas on moving the overton window.

ban pickleball too.

With Prime Day next week, just keep this in mind before you click purchase:

Books are listed on sale because they can afford to undercut competition and raise their profits from carts instead of smaller bookstores who need it way more.

Anyway, buy books from small presses!
