Just because "firefighters" aren't getting fired doesn't mean wildland firefighting is escaping terminations and resignations unscathed. “It is leaving us woefully unprepared for fire this summer.”

Reading through the newly published NaFRA with my highways research head on, and all I can say is, this is shocking. 38% of the highway network already flood exposed, rising to 42% under climate projections.
We really are going to need to do things differently
