Along with the many bookish ornaments on my tree, there are ornaments that just so happen to match my books...

In A Dance of Bow & Blade, Robyn is known for dressing in green. Scarlet tends to stick with reds.

In my Be Series, I always picture Sare in blues. A lot of it has to do with the blue butterfly she interacts with in An Impossible Dream & it's symbolism.

When Morning Comes is looking at a lot of the repercussions of these wars, both in terms of large scale politics & individual people's lives. Borders had been pushed back. Communities had been destroyed. Families had been torn apart. & finances had been exhausted.

Midgrim also had cut off the Northern border, essentially trapping the Northern kingdom, for those 17 years, as well. These wars had been going on for as long as Midgrim has been around, with the intention of essentially taking over all 5 of the kingdoms.

By the end of Be, the war between Midgrim & the South ends. There was technically about 17 years of what was supposed to be peace between the kingdoms due to a marriage contract, but both sides really used that time to build up their resources.

Taryn nearly always has her aquamarine earrings in Seven Years Love. For most of the book, Cordelia has one, too. For a chapter they were on Cordelia's sleeve, but mostly they wear them in their ears.
