There are a million things to be outraged about right now (this is by design). My number one is, trans people don’t have the numbers to defend themselves from all the ways these people are trying to strip them of their humanity. Feels like a “first they came for (x) and I did not speak out” moment

MTA says that with congestion pricing getting underway, work on major projects is set to began again. It includes:
- Tunneling contract for Second Ave - Phase 2, plus tease of coming announcement of new cost savings
- Digital signaling (CBTC) on Fulton Street will now include A to Ozone Park

With decongestion pricing set to start in 2025, New York’s leadership must become extremely serious about reforming how the state builds stuff. Remember, France is constructing 120 miles of new subway lines and 68 stations for just 70% of the cost of MTA's 5-year capital plan.
