I remember as a small nerd I used to often morbidly think “what if *I* die before that book/LP/comic I want comes out?”, obviously this was a skill issue and I should have been yelling “you OWE me mister” at the artists I liked

Mark Millar being a full-blown ComicsGate supporter is not very surprising but the impact he had on western comics (especially in the oughts) now feels like a full-blown tragedy. There's no real excuse for his stuff that can hold up when he's openly declared his allegiance to fight the "wokes".
