All of this, plus the Mexican Repatriation was enacted less than 100 years ago!
Also if you think you're safe becuase you're a citizen - you aren't. This is about the suspicions of a person in power, it's about racism, and you need to understand that Operations Wetback happened, Japanese Internment happened, the Chinese Exclusion Act happened, the "war on terror" happened.
