I’m not saying the mailman who delivers to my work has a crush on me, but I am saying that he drove away with the back of his truck wide open after I walked outside in shorts 💁‍♀️

One of the most life-changing things my therapist ever taught me is to stop responding to emotional subtext from others. You are not obligated to meet needs and feelings that others refuse to acknowledge even exist on their end. Others have to use their words to get their needs met.

I’m all for what Maron is doing right now but he did have an outspoken Zionist on his show not one month ago and that’s kind of a lot of what I’m thinking about with him. Also he’s about to be on Blank Check which I’m thrilled about. But still… maybe we ought to ask him about Palestine?

really feels like housing affordability is one of the most important political issues of our time, affecting nearly every aspect of our lives, and everyday our mainstream political discourse is about whether sour cream is woke or not

This may be transgender people’s only route to update their passports for potentially up to 10 years with a correct gender marker. There is no telling how long the window will be open.

IMO the best way will be to have an upcoming trip to Canada or Mexico and apply in person at an office.
1. Good news for trans people: I have independently confirmed that the Trump admin is now processing passport updates in compliance with a court order.

Multiple trans people have gotten their gender markers updated.

There are important caveats though, read on.
