I am really sorry to be the one to tell you this (no I'm not) but getting really mad on social media about how bad the orange man is does literally nothing to actually fucking fight the authoritarian takeover of our government, and *does* sap your energy for things that will actually fucking help.

I still take covid seriously, but I it’s taken *work* for me to hold on to the truth of covid in the face of relentless official messaging that minimizes the risks or provides straight up wrong info. I often feel like a conspiracy theorist when I explain to others why the CDC covid guidance is bad.
