Of course he doesn't believe it. Miller is Trump's Minister of Propaganda.
Can Miller really believe this? If so, he is delusional. If not, then he’s a reprehensible demagogue.

Isn't really crazy that two of the three major TV networks that we're supposed to trust to deliver objective news reporting have paid personal bribes to the President of the United States?

Our neighbor spotted a barred owl 🦉 this morning in the large maple tree that straddles our backyards. I took this shot from our 2nd floor deck.

I'm outraged all the time these days, but this triggered me at a new level. I'm sure Lutnick's mother is not living in poverty, depending on her monthly Social Security check to pay for rent and food. These rich dicks don't want to even admit the existence of income inequality.
Trump’s commerce secretary Howard Lutnick says if Social Security skipped a check, his mother-in-law wouldn’t complain—and if you would, it indicates you are probably a fraudster. Insane.

You know what really pissses me off? The subversion of democracy. We elect senators and reps to create and fund federal agencies. When the executive branch oversteps its role in implementing these policies, we lose our voice. It's even worse because Musk and DOGE were never vetted by Congress.

Freddy just finished up his second dental surgery in less than a week. This cat is such a trooper. Missing and roaming the streets for 52 days, lost his eyesight, and now missing most of his teeth due to resorption. But he takes it all in stride and keeps enjoying life.

I linked DOGE staffer Marko Elez to a deleted X account that advocated repealing the Civil Rights Act, backed a “eugenic immigration policy,” and wrote, “You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity."

He just resigned. www.wsj.com/tech/doge-st...

It's sad, but I fear that the resistance won't get any traction until some Trump voters start getting disgruntled and experience buyer's remorse. But the way things are headed, this hould start happening soon.

This is a hard pill for me to swallow, but there's a lot of truth here. I'll try harder to not be swallowed up by the toxic swill surrounding us.
I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

This is exactly what we want to see from Senate Democrats. Russell Vought is the mastermind of Trump’s sweeping (and illegal) spending freeze, and his nomination should be withdrawn. Democrats are starting to fight back, and we need to encourage them to keep going: indivisible.org/resource/cal...

All the progress made in my lifetime to ensure equality for all is being systematically erased by cluelessly evil criminals. Meanwhile Democrats wring their hands and do nothing. We need all hands on deck to stop this madness before it's too late.

We are being governed by the worst of humanity.
this is truly despicable.
J.D. Vance uses DEI to cover for a potentially white male pilot being at fault: "When you don't have the best standards in who you're hiring, it means, on the one hand, you're not getting the best people in government, but on the other hand, it puts stresses on the people who are already there."

All you folks who didn't support Harris because of Gaza, I hope you're happy with Trump's Palestine policy.
On Air Force One from Las Vegas to Miami, President Trump says Palestinians in Gaza should be relocated.

“I’d like Egypt to take people. I’d like Jordan to take people,” he tells reporters.”We just clean out that whole thing.”

The Trump administration will keep breaking the law, and then gauge how Congress and courts react. If there's no resistance, they'll go farther next time. This is how tyranny develops. So, my fellow frogs, can you feel the water in the pot getting warmer?
Via Politico: The Council of Inspectors General say Trump’s attempted purge is NOT “legally sufficient to dismiss” IGs, because it clearly violates federal law. Suggests that at least some IGs will attempt to remain at their posts. Get ready for a court battle.
