If you think this can’t happen, remember that of the 125,000 Japanese Americans who were interned during WWII for years without charge or trial, two-thirds were U.S. citizens. Including me.

I don’t think people are paying enough attention to the fact that the North Carolina court of appeals just ruled that 65,000 votes don’t count, and that the Republican Supreme Court candidate who lost actually won.

This will be appealed, but make no mistake: they’re trying to steal this election.

I’m so sick of this shit. Our history is real, whether you like it or not. It may be horrific, but we must tell it exactly like it happened, not some whitewashed version.

MAGA Republicans desperately want to rewrite American history

Do not let them get away with it!

End a clinical trial early, and researchers might not be able to tell if it worked, leaving participants worse off than when they started. But that is what the Trump administration is asking scientists to do, @katherinejwu.com reports.

I think Stephen Miller massively underestimates the extent to which the entire world wants to tell him to go fuck himself.
Stephen Miller: The United States is 36% of global consumption, and we are more than 25% of the world's economy. Just the United States alone. That means we get to set the rules and terms for international trade.

I helped build a government AI system. DOGE fired me, rolled the AI out to the whole agency, and implied the AI can do my job and the jobs of the others they've fired.

It can't. But, what DOGE accidentally revealed about themselves in the process is fascinating. 🧵
