Saw some pearl-clutching about "dehumanizing" because of an angry post about health insurers.

If you accept trans people are real and about ~1.5% of the population, then trans kids are being undertreated by a factor of about 100x. Seriously, look up how many kids in the US have accessed trans care. It's around 0.05% at the highest measure
It’s genuinely shocking if you’re remotely familiar with the basic facts of trans care and youth medicine.

It is *profoundly* difficult to access gender-affirming care as a minor and the Times has printed more than a dozen articles implying that it is too easy.

The NYT has spent years pushing an anti-trans ideology. Trans people have actually lost rights in recent years, making them vulnerable to draconian laws and violence. Now the NYT says trans activitists are being a little too mean to transphobes online, and that's why their losing their rights.
