I think what I find so fascinating about so many of the responses about the Gaza war is that people in my mentions seem to have no exposure to any history, about any other war, whatsoever.

It's literally not that fucking easy. Tom here thinks the evidence that Israel isn't committing genocide is that Israel could've "leveled Gaza in a week." First: how? Nukes? Why not? Second: does Tom doubt the Nazis' commitment to Jewish genocide? THEN WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST DO IT IN A WEEK? Idiot.
What would be different? Well, if this were an attempt to genocide the Palestinians under Israeli control, Gaza would have been leveled in a week - 2 years ago - and 2 million people in the West Bank would be dead now.

Yep, many of the Nazis who joined the SA hadn't fought in WWI but wanted to in order to seem cool. They wanted a legitimate way to enact violence.

Personally I think it would thus behoove Jewish leaders whose ostensible job it is to fight antisemitism not to, say, applaud anti democratic crackdowns because they also makes the cost of criticizing Israel higher, but what do I know.

See now personally I think if you care about antisemitism and living in a society that’s safe for all people, you should come out and say that this is racist, conspiratorial, generally despicable, and outrageous.
