If Hegseth was the "target engagement authority" for the Sep. 2 strike, even if he left the video watching room before the second strike, wouldn't they still have gotten an ok from him before the strike? Or were his orders to kill all of them so clear there was no need? Either way, isn't it on him?

It would be easy to say "AI is evil", and LLMs and GenAI software are for the most part an unnecessary luxury, as are their datacentres, but much less resource-intensive Artificial Intelligence programs have been around, and useful, for decades and shouldn't become collateral damage in the backlash.
"Datacentre power demand in Australia could triple in five years and is forecast to exceed by 2030 the energy used by electric vehicles."

Another reason to detest AI. It gobbles up power and water, and pushes up power prices for everyone.
