On Monday, WHO’s staff residence in Deir al-Balah, #Gaza, was hit by projectiles and damaged by fire while our personnel and their families were inside.

World Central Kitchen has run out of food to serve in Gaza. Its bakery ("recently the last working bakery in Gaza") is out of flour. There are 100,000+ tons of food in staging areas within driving distance of Gaza, and Israel refuses to let them in wck.org/news/gaza-up...

Today, the International Court of Justice began a 5-day hearing into Israel’s breaches of its legal obligations through its denial of food and aid to the Gaza Strip. The hearing takes place 8 weeks into Israel’s total blockade of ALL humanitarian aid and supplies to Gaza. (1/7)
