Why isn't this Roger Stone piece from January 2025 getting more play with regard to the pardon of Hernandez. Not only does Thiel have an interest there, but Stone says a Trump should offer "well-timed pardon" prior to the elections in Honduras.

"Tzefardea Tzedek" (Frog of Righteousness)

As soon as the Portland Frog became a meme, Jewish social media blew up with jokes about the 2nd Passover plague - tzefarde'a (frogs) - and the Rabbinical commentary around it. I knew I had to make a calligraphy piece encompassing all of it. (more in alt.)

Oregon's Yamhill County voted for Donald Trump 3 times in a row, in 2024 by 6 percentage points, and many welcomed Trump's crackdown on immigration. Then ICE detained their beloved neighbor of three decades, Moises Sotelo.... www.nytimes.com/2025/07/19/o... www.nytimes.com/2025/07/19/o...

Two can play at this game. If the regime is going to illegally require a 72-hour notice to visit ICE facilities, members of Congress should request visits every single day.

NEW: I wrote about the painful rift growing between two generations of American Jews
—and how the Seder table can be container for our conflicts, bitter and righteous as they may be.

After all: Even the Four Children, each of whom represents a fiercely divergent worldview, are all at the table.
Seder in the time of intergenerational strife
The Passover Seder offers an opportunity for parents and children struggling to talk about Israel and Jewish identity. Start with these four questions.

I'm so proud to have known this bold young Jewish leader, Meirav Batsheva Solomon, since she was born.
This is a powerful rebuttal to the sh'tuyot last night.

Totally kvelling and shepping nachas over here.
🔥 Meirav Solomon KILLS IT, placing responsibility for antisemitism exactly where it belongs:

"it is not student protesters, but the bloody legacy of Pittsburgh and Poway, Charlottesville and the Capitol riots... Trump has highlighted and platformed neo-Nazis and white supremacists."

Russia invaded Ukraine. This is Putin’s war.

If Trump won’t say it, the Senate damn well should.

And we will have the chance tonight.

I am the great-grandson of a man who led his family out of the shtetl to a strange land in search of a better life. I am the grandson of the three-year-old boy on that journey. As you know, my name is Marc, but my Hebrew name is Elhanan—after the warrior in David’s army who slew a powerful giant.
My Open Letter to Elon Musk
From Marc | Elon Musk recently posted on his site that another lawyer and I are “undermining civilization.” This is my response.

I’m a former White House advisor, and a political strategist and speechwriter.

In the darkness, I saw some hope this week – early signs of vulnerability in the new Admin.

Reclaiming power demands we work through these kinds of case studies.

I helped write the Biden-Harris AI executive order – the one that President Trump has repealed.

The EO was a first step, but it was the most comprehensive policy governing AI in the US.

Like others, I've been sounding the alarm about the dangers of this exact moment.

A short 🧵 on what this means:
