I am very angry. Which is weird for me because I don't usually get angry. (Depressed is more my speed). But I am very angry at the cowards, the betrayers of our oath, the colleagues who joined my profession but now abandon any pretense of pursuing the ideals of the rule of law.

Incidentally, this seems to me a very interesting observation: for all the decades of taking the US constitutional system as the paradigm of 'legal constitutionalism' in legal and constitutional theory, all it took for Trump to wreck it was to create a new 'team' and issue a plethora of EOs. /1
Why? Because he is doing it via EO/doge and not going through the proper constitutional channels — in this case Congress repealing earlier statutes. If he did, it would take much more time, and the results would be much less devastating.
