A year ago, my sister started her short time in hospice. I drew this for her in her room. Mom couldn't be there, as she was bed bound in palliative care at a nursing home.

Day 1 of Crycatuon was yesterday, Thanksgiving with inlaws. My brother in law said I looked like I was going to the Tour De France (because I was wearing a scarf).
I told him "thanks, the scarf was my dead mother's!"

When I shut off my work laptop today, I began my crycation-vacation. Like a staycation, for grief. A year ago, my sister failed to improve, and was soon moved to hospice, while my mom was in palliative care.

My dog's rescue sent me this because it came up in their memories. Daisy was originally named Casey, and she bounced between fosters and boarding for 5 years before I adopted her. Now she is a spoiled brat. I love her.

I think the obsession with the Oxford comma is pedantic and over hyped, especially since these supposed champions of clarity rarely embrace the semi-colon with such fervor. I think context clues and better sentence construction can clear up most confusion examples from the Oxford comma obsessives.

It helps keep grief from being overwhelming by indulging in comfort shows episodes about loss and grief.
Also therapy.

I love the theory that the wild canid ancestors to dogs domesticated themselves. They saw all the perks of hanging out with early humans, and signed up the long haul. Ancient dogs were like "someday, couches and AC will be invented. And we will be there."

Dad found a box of art and stuff I left at their house after college. Including my first ever character sheet (D&D 2.5). "...gold (slightly melted)" feels similar to my current campaign with different people. Sometimes your magic users will be reckless with fireball.
