Weirdest coworker. D&D & TTRPG nerd.
My tummy hurts and I'm mad at the government.
Grief talk after losing two family members within 58 days.
She/her.
A year ago, my sister started her short time in hospice. I drew this for her in her room. Mom couldn't be there, as she was bed bound in palliative care at a nursing home.

Day 1 of Crycatuon was yesterday, Thanksgiving with inlaws. My brother in law said I looked like I was going to the Tour De France (because I was wearing a scarf).
I told him "thanks, the scarf was my dead mother's!"

Grief never ends, it just changes shape. Sometimes it quiets and softens. It's a loud grief week for me, and I'm taking a crycation so I don't have to struggle through work and grief and flashbacks and everything in between while at work.

First drafts of some art I've been wanting to do about my mom and sister. I reprinted a bunch of photos so I'm not cutting up originals

My dog's rescue sent me this because it came up in their memories. Daisy was originally named Casey, and she bounced between fosters and boarding for 5 years before I adopted her. Now she is a spoiled brat. I love her.

It helps keep grief from being overwhelming by indulging in comfort shows episodes about loss and grief.
Also therapy.

I love the theory that the wild canid ancestors to dogs domesticated themselves. They saw all the perks of hanging out with early humans, and signed up the long haul. Ancient dogs were like "someday, couches and AC will be invented. And we will be there."

Dad found a box of art and stuff I left at their house after college. Including my first ever character sheet (D&D 2.5). "...gold (slightly melted)" feels similar to my current campaign with different people. Sometimes your magic users will be reckless with fireball.

If you are looking for Pride merch and want to support queer creators, and especially if you like swishy skirts with pockets, I've bought three skirts at local conventions from this artist. Plus a bi pride pin.

I got my GIST tumor removed last week. It went well! The suture technique had to get a lil creative. They used a brand name, MANTIS clips, to patch me up.
Which means I can semi-truthfully say that I have twenty mantises in my stomach.

I plan to be a menace with this truth-adjacent phrase.
