Pope Francis was born Jorge Mario Bergoglio in 1936 in Buenos Aires. Later, as the leader of the Roman Catholic Church, he elevated the causes of migrants and the disenfranchised, and pushed the church to more forcefully confront its own history of scandal. Here is a timeline of his life.
A Timeline of the Life of Pope Francis
Francis was a deeply religious child in Buenos Aires. The first pontiff from Latin America tried to create a more welcoming church.

Debunked, half-true, and deeply ableist. RFK Jr. knows shockingly little about autism.

For someone who's been talking about it for so long, the HHS secretary got many basic facts wrong.

This! Too late for Wray and Smith, both of whom are already obeying in advance. But there’s still time for others.
To Jack Smith, Chris Wray, and anyone else thinking of just obeying in advance: STOP.

Our system depends on there being a political cost for breaking things. If Trump wants to fire the FBI Director or fire the Special Counsel prosecuting him, make him do it.

Stop doing his work for him!

Two years ago today we were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal for protecting The US Capitol on January 6th 2021. Almost 4 years later the efforts to downplay, whitewash and minimize what happened appear to be succeeding. I won't ever stop standing up to them.

Social Security and Medicare have nothing to do with reducing the deficit. Even former President Reagan knew this.

Don't let them gaslight you into cutting OUR benefits.
