This should have been an internal matter. This should have been handled by the school district and the union reps privately. It doesn't appear other than what he said in his private social media one time that there's any other reason for an investigation.

As a woman, mom, POC and councilor, I'm more than a little upset by the conservative lies that were flying during the search for the Brown killer. Conservatives shared names, ethnicity, sexual orientation, racism freely while the investigation was ongoing.

This is a good article. I would love to see that local persons who knowingly shared misinformation regarding the killer, about their ethnicity, their religion etc. be named and shamed. So many of these same people who state race has no barrier, were the 1st to go right to racism.

Over on the other platform, the posters (all RI conservatives) are posting now that 1) PPD didn't really "solve" this 2) Brown is to blame for not having enough cameras. The sheer stupid of these posts and the amount of BS they represent is astounding.

I'm sure John DePetro was satisfied with himself for asking, during yesterday's Brown-shooting presser, whether the person of interest's movements -- including briefly clasping his hands behind his back -- suggested he was middle eastern.

I’ve been at Providence PD all week, where though the lobby is business as usual, law enforcement have been walking in and out for days. Investigators have been working out of a command center on the third floor. Investigation still very active.

The US Administration has banned Americans from *adopting babies* from much of the African continent.

On that last post: I genuinely cannot think of any good-faith reason to bar international adoptions from those 39 countries. Under this new ban, consulates will refuse adoption visas for any baby from Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Nigeria, or any of the 39 other countries.
