If you somebody that refuses to vote because the party represents you, the way you change that is to VOTE IN PRIMARIES. I don't care if you don't like the Dems, you are throwing away a huge part of your voting power by not participating in primaries. You don't punish in the general, you do it here.
If you are a liberal in deep blue territory, one thing you could try doing right now is figuring out how to replace your Democratic member of Congress next year. With very few exceptions, the typical safe seat Dem is not meeting the moment. Find someone who will and help them.
