Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

I’ve spent most of the last decade doing candidate recruitment so I feel qualified to say this:
If you do not like the person running, find someone to run against them or run yourself. Especially this far out from the election & filing deadlines, this is an option available to you if you so chose!

This! I joined my local arts commission, my local human relations commission, and the damn PTA at my kids public school. If you are not taking one of these seats in your local government public school or community, a red hat will.
This is not a subtweet about anybody, but if you're thinking about running for office, it doesn't have to be for Congress. There are so many important local elections where your community needs you to step up.
