We condemn the scandalous US visa ban on former EU Commisioner Breton and digital activists. Protecting democracy isn’t censorship. ✋🏼

Disinformation isn’t free speech. Europe won’t take lessons from those undermining democracy and free speech.

Here in Europe we set our own laws. 🇪🇺✊🏼

Another one to file under "This is NOT normal behaviour by a supposed democracy and ally".

This isn't about censorship, if it was the US would be sanctioning Russian and Chinese government figures who really are suppressing free speech.

Starmer is the most gutless morally bankrupt individual ever to be associated with the Labour Party.

He is a historically repugnant figure who has wrecked the entire party.

So, free speech is the freedom to censor those who think we should censor hate speech?

Trump is banning fact-checkers--yes, those people who do the research to learn the truth--from entering the USA.

When Trump says he supports free speech, what he means is supports his right to lie. Those who tell the truth are therefore his natural enemies.

The Telegraph highlighting - yet missing - two vital points here.

1) We're not calling for £476m to be spent. It already is - this is about diverting it to actually helping.

2) Why "cruelty" in question? The £476m we're spending is part of an operation tear gassing babies.

Again these people aren't patriots.

They hate our country and are allied to others who hate it too.

Nothing will ever be achieved by seeking to appease them

They can change leader but the problem is the hundreds of corporate lobbyists who are Labour MPs.

I'm glad Keir Starmer has listened to our calls for this inquiry following the Reform Russian bribery scandal.

Nigel Farage should be the first to give evidence.
🚨 BREAKING: Keir Starmer has launched a formal investigation into foreign election interference

It comes after former Reform UK Welsh Leader Nathan Gill was sentenced to over 10 years in prison last month for making pro-Russia statements for bribes

Just pointing out that the UK has the highest pension and minimum wage we ever had. Also the highest level of regulatory protection.

Because it is rarely mentioned when everyone talks about how terrible everything is.

They lie - obsessively.

Keir Starmer, "Tax rises do make life harder for people, I understand that, it's obvious"

It's also obvious that a wealth tax of 1% on those with £10m+ would NOT make life harder for the rich - thats also obvious 🤷‍♂️

I spent over a decade, a book, 100,000+ tweets, various magazine articles, blog posts etc. criticising what the Tories were doing wrong.

But now that a different gang of incompetents are in charge, I'm supposed to roll over and let them tickle my tummy while I look the other way?

I don't think so.

Very interesting story from Robert Peston on Twitter.

It sounds like Labour very deliberately engineered a series of artificial, unnecessary storms in teacups in advance of the budget.

In a follow-up tweet, he mentioned that the beginnings of an official investigation are under way.

The country wants a wealth tax on assets.

They're panicking because "won't the rich just leave" has been utterly debunked.

They've got no actual argument.

Why is it always necessary to hit the living standards of the 99%?

When are we going to make the necessary decisions about extreme wealth?
