I probably repost too damn much.
And make too many grammatical errors & tpyos.
Also @refrag@mastodon.cloud, but that's dormant.
I thought there are a few unofficial ones, though?
Like if we were in a world where you could view good posters who got questionable bans, but had to switch to a different app to do so (an app which would still show everyone else's posts) that app would get more popular after every bad ban

A guy with first hand knowledge in the subject replied with "you're missing something here" and got blocked for it. Even good deep-divers miss things

That said, I do understand her hair trigger, both as a big account & given her background. I just think in this case it's not warranted

I think a guy who is worried about losing his livelihood has good reason to be upset at someone else spreading misinformation under the guise of combatting misinformation. There's a difference between "you're wrong" and "you suck". Maybe I missed replies saying the latter.

Not weed, but it may wipe out some or all of the CBD industry. (This person works in the industry, replied to r. with corrections, and got blocked)

... the final products I make are back below .3% total THC. But if I'm reading this right, it means under the new law, my entire stock has to be liquidated because it is no longer considered hemp because it crosses that .3 line.

I say "Senator", singular, because I assume only Duckworth will be reachable. I might try Durbin's office anyway but I expect nothing

Apparently they have done this campaign before, but this time there's more anger across the board (even centrists are against it) & it might actually work. I'm going to call my own Senator later.

I can understand being touchy about this sort of thing, especially as a big account, but that block isn't a good look

Someone who actually makes their livelihood in this industry says she's wrong in this thread. And got blocked for pointing this out.

Hey. It's late and I'm not a politician and I'm trying my best to read this thing.
The "0.4 milligrams combined total per container" limit (page 131) is new and is NOT the current .3 percent limit and would destroy a lot of products.

I will say that it's not like she wrote the bill herself. I'm now seeing a lot of very confusing info about it & whether it's bad or not

Yeah, the ultimate solution will require ditching the official app as well as migrating to a new "pds". (Whatever that means; I knew, but I've forgotten. Never have found the time to dig into how all of this works)

I know everyone hates Mastodon but the ability to go "the people who run this server all suck" and just migrate to a better one was one hell of a feature.
I am under the impression that should be possible with the protocol underlying Bluesky, but if so that still doesn't seem possible yet
