If you were too young in 2003 here is what Bush told the American people:

1) The Iraq War won’t cost a lot of money
3) We won’t need a lot of troops
4) We’ll bring peace and freedom to Iraq
5) We’ll find WMDs
6) We’ll be welcomed as liberators
7) It will be easy
8) It won’t take long

All lies.

Let’s clear something up: SNAP stands for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program — the LARGEST federal program to fight hunger in the country!

It blows my mind that the party that touts its “Christian values” is the same party that is SET on taking food from the hungry.

Australia is one of the world’s biggest coal exporters and they can permit generation that won’t burn money over its lifetime. How is this so hard for the US Administration?

Dear senators who think you can’t do anything,

Today, Senator Van Hollen - through diplomatic pressure - got a meeting with Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. So that thing you’re thinking about doing? DO IT.

People will literally freeze and fry in their homes. This is a death sentence for people experiencing poverty.
When home heating is less affordable, more people die each winter. That's what our analysis found for a period when LIHEAP was in place. Without LIHEAP, the effect would presumably much larger.

When I was 17, I opened my first checking account w/a couple hundred bucks. I didn’t meet the min monthly deposit, so they kept charging fees until I owed them money. It stuck with me—I still won’t bank w/BofA.

There’s no upside to this move for anyone who isn’t rich—just cruelty for cruelty’s sake

The first people in the UK who owned a heat pump?

The Telegraph hasn’t got its facts right once again.

The first heat pump in the UK was installed in Norwich in 1945 by John Sumner.
