If you get tired of saying "valid" you can just tell folks "Fair" or some variation of it, "That's fair"; "Fair enough"; "That totally fair!"; etc.
Changing "your feelings are valid" to "That's absolutely fair" or whatever fits seems less like you are trying to defuse the other person like a bomb
